Hi. I'm Nathan.
But you should really just call me Nate. I get to do what I love. If you are looking at this, you probably do too. My family resides in Seattle and my soul was formed in the Bay Area.
What I Do
Mixing
I take pride in staying true to what the artist is articulating by reinforcing it in the mix to produce a professional and compelling recording.
Engineering
I strive to interpret how the performance needs to sound and use microphone choice, placement, equalization and compression to sonically support your arrangements.
Cutdowns
Using the stem tracks of a song I create alternate versions by editing them into thirty, sixty, and ninety second versions with the goal of film and advertisement placement.
Bass
I have played bass for fifteen years and toured domestically and internationally with several bands. With my extensive recording experience I can remotely record bass tracks for an artist here at my studio in Seattle.
